About Lawrence SchillerLawrence Schiller was born in 1936 in Brooklyn and grew up outside of San Diego, California. After attending Pepperdine College in Los Angeles, he worked as a photo journalist for LIFE, Paris Match, The Sunday Times, among many others.
His wide-ranging professional career has moved from photojournalism to best selling author to producer and director of Emmy award-winning documentaries to on-set photographer for major movies. He is a consultant and advisor to the Norman Mailer estate and to the Annie Lebowitz studio and his writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The Daily Beast, and other outlets online and in print.
His interests and professional accomplishments are considerable. He lives in New York.
