About Len Prince

Len Prince was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1953 and started taking pictures at the age of 9. He studied photography with Jerry Uelsman at The School of Visual Arts. In the course of his career he has dramatically photographed flowers, nudes, celebrities, landscapes, and the skyscrapers of New York. His work has appeared in many publications including Vanity Fair, Interview, and he is in the collections of The Chicago Art Institute, J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, The Kinsey Institute for Research in Indiana, The Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida, and The Vincent Van Gogh Museum in Arles, France. His book "About Glamour" features celebrity portraits in the classic Hollywood style. His current projects include a series of portraits of Jessie Mann, portfolios of dance and motion landscapes.
