About Priscilla Rattazzi

Staley-Wise Gallery announces the publication of Best Friends, a portfolio of 14 photographs by Priscilla Rattazzi, published by LunaLola Press. Shot over nearly three decades, the photographs in this portfolio were largely selected from the artist's book of portraits of well-known dog owners with their pets. Born and raied in Rome, Priscilla Rattazzi is widely known for the European sensibility she brings to her work. Ms. Rattazzi's subjects include Glenn Close, Gianni Agnelli and Isaac Mizrahi and their dogs Gaby, Dyed Eyes and Harry. A passionate dog lover, Priscilla Rattazzi believes that dogs bring much-needed comic relief to our daily lives. Rattazzi has a golden retriever and a miniature dachsund. "My dogs are hilarious," says Rattazzi. "They make me laugh and they keep me thing." Each photograph is a 12 x 18" pigment print on a 14 x 20" sheet. This limited edition collection of 15 portfolios and 3 artist proofs is archivally boxed to include 14 images and a mounted cover sheet. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the portfolios will benefit the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF).
