A Moment in Time: Iconic Images by Harry Benson

Harry Benson’s retrospective exhibition “A Moment in Time: Iconic Images by Harry Benson” is now available to see at the Southampton Arts Center until July 15, 2023!  Curated by Sally Martin Katz, Curatorial Associate of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), the exhibition presents Benson’s extensive documentation of civil rights figures, politicians, musicians, celebrities and athletes, and embodies some of the most significant moments captured in the 20th and 21st centuries.

In support of the exhibition, the International Center of Photography (ICP) will host a free screening of the 2016 feature-length documentary “Harry Benson: Shoot First”, directed by Justin Bare and Matthew Miele, at 6 pm on May 25, 2023.  Tickets are available here.
