ERIK MADIGAN HECK (born 1983)
Erik Madigan Heck was born in Excelsior, Minnesota.
His photographs have appeared on the cover of and in the pages of The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, TIME, and Harper’s Bazaar, among other publications. His advertising clients include Fendi, Van Cleef & Arpels, Sotheby's, Clinique, Nike, The Los Angeles Philharmonic, The New York City Ballet, The GAP, VH1 and Neiman Marcus, among others.
Heck's work has received numerous awards including the prestigious International Center of Photography’s Infinity Award, The Art Director’s Club Gold Medal, and The American Photography award for his Old Masters Portfolio published by The New York Times Magazine.
His first book Old Future was published in 2017 by Thames & Hudson. In 2018 Heck’s work was included in two solo museum surveys at The Musée des Beaux-Art in Le Locle, Switzerland, and The Multimedia Arts Museum in Moscow, Russia.
