SOPHIE ELGORT

Sophie Elgort is a photographer and director born in New York City. Her work exists at the intersection of photography and storytelling, to make people feel valued by telling their stories, both through image and words. In addition to her commissions for multiple fashion brands, her photographs have appeared in publications including Cultured, Elle, Paper, Teen Vogue and The Financial Times, and she has photographed personalities including Brooke Shields, Naomi Watts, John Waters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Rose Byrne and more. Sophie was previously named to Forbes' “30 under 30” list and to The Daily Front Row's “12 New Wave Creatives Moving Fashion Forward”. She is also a frequent public speaker and has presented at the Rubin Museum of Art, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Pratt Institute and Brown University. Her solo show, AWAY WE GO, inspired by postcards and the spirit of travel, ran from May through August 2023 at the Lafayette 148 retail spaces in New York and Los Angeles.
